Areas of Research: 17th- and 18th-century English and Irish drama, 20th-century American and Irish drama, rhetorical concerns in literature and philosophy.

Articles on Thornton Wilder, Thomas Durfey, Thomas Otway, David Hume, Katherine Philips, and sex and marriage in Restoration comedy.
